Life of the modern human being has become very complex, confused and cumbersome. Every person has to confront with a large number of problems and difficulties. He/she has to word under strain and anxiety. Students of the school level in particular and of colleges in general face many problems. our main concern is the student of the primary level to secondary level. It is found that syllabus of all level of school education is very wide and burdensome. It is not possible for them to cope with the situation. Sooner or later it results into the frustration, boredom and negligence of getting education in schools. consequently it is the general opinion that school education has totally failed to achieve its objectives.

If we think over the past value based objective as the development of wholsum personality, virtues, talents, capabilities etc modern education has education usually following reaons are responsible for this failure :

1.    It fails to create interst among the students regarding the basic knowledge of various kinds of antural phenomenon like tress , flowers, birds etc of their surrounding and neighborhood Rather the learn them from costlier books published by profit-monger publisher.

2. Main stress is given to learn subjects like mathematics and science through English without giving due importance to mother language. If young students are imparted education through their mother tounge they feel it as convenient to learn them.

3. It is the general observation  that the children of economically well to do families  are mostly becoming fatty, dull and idle because of the adoption of injurious life style. Modern education is of little help in this regard.

4. On account of the lack of sound health, students are not able to learn their respective course of studies efficiently. Unfortunately children of both the rich and the poor families lack sound and as a result sound mind.

5. In spite of the development & growth of human values like truthfulness, honesty, spirit of brotherhood, service to the society, love and affection, more stress is given to acquire worldly things as much as possible through their courses of studies. There is total commercialization of education, students give more preference for the study of those subjects which may cater their economic needs. But one should remember that man cannot live by bread alone. He has to get the peace of mind as well through the cultivation of healthy life-style.                                                                                          Most of the problems of education revolve around the uneasiness, mental tension, hurrying, ego and greediness in the life of the general human being in the modern society.
